Sliding scale options are available for clients, based on financial need, as I want to make sure that my services are accessible. Please mention your interest in sliding scale pricing when you contact me and we can further discuss options.
I do not bill insurance but, upon request, I will provide superbills that you can independently submit to your insurance company, as you see fit. Currently, I am not paneled with any insurance companies, which means I am an ‘out-of-network’ provider.
Good Faith Estimate Notice and the "No Surprises Act"
(specifically for clients paying without insurance)
Under the No Surprises Act when clients who don’t have or aren't using insurance, all healthcare providers must provide an estimate of expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your therapist, and any other healthcare provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, and/or at any time during treatment.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
