Family Therapy

Family therapy is for anyone who identifies as a family, whether it's your created family or family by birth. Family therapy works particularly well with blended families, adoptive families, parents and their young ones, co-parenting teams, and intergenerational families.

Maybe your family is transitioning, gaining some members, or has recently lost members. Maybe you just want more communication, peace, and connection between loved ones. Family sessions are focused on helping families navigate life’s ups and downs, as an intertwined unit to improve communication and harmony.

Co-Parenting

The relationship you have with the other members of your parenting team makes a huge difference in the lives of your kiddos. They are aware of any tension, even if it’s unspoken. I work with parents to identify growth areas, develop communication tools, enhance parenting styles, and productively address concerns.

Foster/Adoption

Preparing to bring a child into the family is exciting and it brings on a unique set of challenges. I work with transitioning families to help guardians explore assumptions, expectations, and hopes, as well as, help prepare people for the changes that will undoubtedly impact their growing family.

Blended Families

Bringing two families together can be complicated. I help families navigate different parenting styles, help kiddos adjust to new rules, develop individual relationships with new family members, process the loss of previous family dynamics, and cultivate trust among everyone in the household.
